It didn't occur to me that I was over-weight until people started mentioning how "healthy(건강)" I looked. Funny how compliments makes you look at yourself more, only to discover the truth. So, don't try to be nice. I'd prefer if you just didn't talk about it. LOL~
Since the new semester started, I've been steadily losing my "freshmen fifteen," which I actually gained during my junior year(or at least that's what I like to say). I signed up for this jogging(core PE requirement) class, thinking that it would last only half a semester only to find that it lasts until mid-December. (Don't get me started how lazy I am to change it) Much to my surprise, it's been one of the best classes I've taken.
I tried losing some weight during the summer before going to Korea and I actually succeeded in losing a couple pounds. Weighting at 175-ish, I thought I was doing well. I have to give Amy credit. As chubby as I look, she usually doesn't mention how "healthy" I look. Anyways, the food in Korea was great and I tried to spoil Amy as much as I could, so we ended up eating out most of the time. When I came back from Korea, much to my horror, I found out that I gained well over 8 pounds, now weighting a hefty 183 pounds. Okay, that's not that much but it's definately over 15 pounds over the "normal."

A quarter of my face feels like someone just gave me a good punch. It's swallen and numb... and it's getting worst. It's been so long since I had a tooth pulled that I seriously forgot how weird it feels to get anesthesized. When the doc administered the local anesthesia, for a while it felt pretty good. Tt was pretty small and local. My lip was swallen and I was just happy that I couldn't feel anything even when the doc literally, pulled half my face off to get to the teeth. Now the numbness and swelling has covered my whole front lip and 3/4 of my nose and it's moving up to my cheeks. It's crappy but strangely it's kinda fun when you poke yourself and you can't feel anything.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the cleaning, the x-raying, the pulling, the picking, and scratching and of course, the $400 bill~! Thank God for dental insurance. It looks like I have a good $1000 dollars more to go besides ALL FOUR wisdom tooth that needs to go pretty soon~ Those suckers are gonna cost me another $1500. Apparently, every single half-bastard "wisdom" tooth are "jammed" beneath my gum and they've retardedly decided to grow sideways. One's has the audacity to grow at a 110 degree angle to the direction God intended it to grow. Hmm... maybe this is a good time to talk to Paul about a few free "consultations". ;-) The doc's being pretty cool apparently, he needs help setting up his wireless router at home and he's willing to trade my service for part of my bill. I just hope I get as much work in by the end of the year so I can put it on this year's insurance. Always waiting til the last minute...
[image:2884,left,5,5,0]My dad needed some headphones for his office so I gave him my old ones and I went out and bought a pair of headphones for myself.
Sony MDR-V300
At first I bought a pair of Sennheiser SEN HD212 "Noise Canceling" that was capable of doing 12Hz but I didn't like the fact that they were HUGE and that the bass was way too strong.
Sony's are nice and slick but they're flimsy and they tend to hurt your ears if you wear glasses... The headphones are still in the original case and I haven't tried them yet but I'm sure I'll like these pair better than the Sennheiser.
[image:2881,left,5,5,0] I just bought a PalmOne Zire 21 from Circuit City. I can return it by Dec. 30th so I thought it was a pretty good deal to test drive one for $99 to see if I really needed it. ;)
I've been trying to following David Allen's Getting Things Done method but I've been having difficulty due to the fact that I don't have a good tool to support it. I just need something simple that has a calendar, task list w/Categories, a contact list and a memo pad.
The Zire 21 is a very simple PDA but I'm considering getting a better one instead... Something like the Sony Clie TJ35.
[image:2883,right,5,5,0]The Zire 21 has a TI ARM 126Mhz processor w/PalmOS 5.2.1 but the screen size is only 160x160, is monochrome without a backlight, and only has 8mb. It's comparable to my old Handspring Visor Deluxe... For $99 I guess it's not too bad considering that I paid $250 for my Visor 3 years ago.
On the other hand, the Sony Clie TJ35 costs $189 with rebates and it has a ton more features... it has a 200Mhz i.MXL processor w/PalmOS 5.2.1 but has 32mb, 320x320 65,000 color screen w/backlight and can play MP3's plus it has a jog dial that you can use to scroll through the menus... It's definately more comfortable.
Decisions, decision... I'm not sure I can afford it though...
I need help guys... What do you guys think? Which one should I buy? :? (Yes, I'm either keeping the Zire 21 or I'm upgrading)
